Santa Claus is coming to town! More specifically, multiple towns in the Metro Detroit area over the next couple weeks. While there are plenty of photo opportunities, one of the most popular activities for families is dining with Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick. Metro Detroit has plenty of events taking place leading up to the Christmas holiday, and here are five that will have the whole family get in the holiday spirit.
The always family-friendly Greenfield Village will be hosting its Holiday Nights series over the next few weeks, with a few “Supper with Santa” events taking place. The night will include a casual buffet-style holiday turkey dinner, photo opportunities with Santa, holiday sing-alongs and more! Admission to Holiday Nights is included with your dinner reservation, so be sure to visit the website to make reservations!
The Detroit Zoo will host its 16th annual Breakfast with Santa at the Wildlife Interpretive Gallery this upcoming weekend. The event will include a buffet-style waffle breakfast, a special gift for each child, arts and crafts, photo opportunities and more. There are only two more breakfasts, this weekend on December 15 and 16, so be sure to secure your tickets now!
The Franklin Athletic club will be hosting “PJs & Pancakes” with Santa on this upcoming Saturday, December 15 starting at 10 a.m. The event will include a visit from Santa, story time, games, crafts, and of course, pancakes. Not only do kids love endless pancakes, but apparently Santa does too. Top Pic Collective will be hosting an endless pancake breakfast at Applebee’s in Detroit. The event will include photo opportunities, a Santa mail station, music and more holiday fun! Be sure to make reservations by checking out the Facebook event page.
The King’s Court Castle will be hosting their final Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 16. The Canterbury Village will include a delicious hot breakfast and plenty of photo opportunities for the whole family. There are two breakfasts, 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and a non-refundable $25 deposit that will be applied towards your final bill.
