Michigan is full of lakes and scenic views, which provide many picturesque settings to explore. Labor Day is quickly approaching, and there are several RV camps around Metro Detroit. If you own an RV, or are looking to rent one for an upcoming vacation, keep the following places in mind.
Haas Lake Park in New Hudson has waterfront sites available, picnic tables on each site, a general store, laundry facilities, beaches, a free two-hole golf course and much more. Detroit Greenfield RV Park in Ypsilanti features paddle boats, mini-golf, a playground, swimming, biking and more. It also has a 90-foot long waterslide and a beach. The camp provides laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, an RV supply store and more. The park will be hosting several Labor Day activities as well. St. Clair RV Resort in St. Clair is a 220-acre RV park. It has woods, rolling hills, valleys, and a small river. The St. Clair River is just five miles east of the resort, and guests can walk the world’s longest freshwater boardwalk to fish, go swimming or watch the activity on the water. There are a ton of activities offered at the resort, as well as various events.

Camp Lord Willing RV Park & Campground, in Monroe, offers 100 large RV lots. You can also bring your furry friends along, as pets are welcome. The grounds offer coin laundry, free Wi-Fi, paved roads and more. Guests here can enjoy horseshoes, paddle boats, fishing, golf and mini-golf. Waterfront and standard lots are both available.
