It’s finally the weekend, and that means time for happy hour! While there are plenty of happy hour specials in Metro Detroit, sometimes it’s difficult to meet friends before 6 p.m. during the week. Thankfully, many restaurants and bars offer late night happy hour for night owls.

Below are a few of the best late night happy hours in southeast Michigan:

Jim Brady’s Detroit

A new Royal Oak eatery, Jim Brady’s Detroit offers late night happy hour from 10 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. During happy hour, enjoy $3 draft beers, $4 appetizers and $5 classic cocktails.

Bites on the appetizer menu include Roasted Cauliflower, Grandma’s Fried Chicken Poppers and Hellfire Cheese Dip.

With best-in-class cargo space, top of the line safety features, and cutting edge technology, the Chevy Suburban is perfect for any family. See the Suburban's available features that can keep up with your family's lifestyle.

Basement Burger Bar

You’ll find one of the area’s top burgers at this restaurant, with locations in Farmington and Canton. As for late night happy hour, enjoy it from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. every day at both spots. Appetizers cost no more than $5, including Mac and Cheese Bites, Buffalo Tots and Mini Burgers.

Also on special: $4 you-call-its, so you don’t go thirsty.

Mezzevino

Late night happy hour runs from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 p.m. to midnight on Friday at this Ann Arbor Mediterranean restaurant. Drinks are priced 25 to 50 percent off, along with discounts on beer cocktails, whiskey cocktails and wine flights.

If you’re hungry, choose from late night snacks including a Charcuterie and Cheese Platter, Gyro Slider Plate or Soup and Salad Combo.

Mon Jin Lau

This Asian-fusion and sushi restaurant in Troy hosts late night “Happy Ending” hour Sunday through Thursday (excluding Wednesdays) from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. to midnight. Quench your thirst with half-off draft beers, $4 sake bombs and $5 martinis.

Appetizers cost $7.50 or less and include Crab Rangoon, Sweet Potato Fries, Ginger Garlic Eggplant and Tenderloin Tips.

There you have it, Metro Detroiters. There are several late night happy hours to take advantage of in the area. Cheers!
