After a night out on the town, it’s likely you’re going to want a post-midnight snack before crawling into bed. While we’ve already covered Metro Detroit eateries that are open until 2 a.m. or later, you’ve got another option when it comes to late night dining, and it’s not fast food.

Did you know that several Metro Detroit restaurants and bars offer a specific late night menu? Instead of entrees and the usual fare, these menus are packed with the snacks you crave late at night: tacos, hot dogs, you name it. Take a look at the list here before you head out this weekend…

Blackfinn, 530 S. Main St., Royal Oak, serves a late night menu Thursday through Saturday from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. You have your choice of several munchies, including Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Seared Ahi Tuna, Blackened Brie (served with sliced apples and toast), or a Mediterranean Platter of hummus, artichoke hearts, flatbread and dip.

There are also six different flatbreads on the menu, including Sausage & Pepperoni, Barbeque Chicken, Roasted Vegetable, Buffalo Chicken, Margherita, and Shrimp & Pesto.

With best-in-class cargo space, top of the line safety features, and cutting edge technology, the Chevy Suburban is perfect for any family. See the Suburban's available features that can keep up with your family's lifestyle.

While you’re there for a snack, might as well try one of Blackfinn’s specialty cocktails!

Imperial, 22823 Woodward Ave., Ferndale, presents a late night menu on Fridays and Saturdays from midnight to 2 a.m. Instead of the usual delicious tacos, the late night menu features dishes that are just as good, but something a little different.

The late night menu includes Hot Mess Nachos, piled high with fixin’s like chorizo, cheese, beans, and more. Chips and salsa, Egg on Your Face (a bacon-wrapped hot dog with chorizo) and You Had Me At Balls (deep-fried risotto balls filled with Gouda) are also available for snacking.

If you’re there into the wee hours on Saturday night, you can head right back in a few hours for Sunday brunch at 11 a.m.

Dino’s, 22740 Woodward Ave., Ferndale, has a $5 Late Night Menu every night of the week from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The snacks are described as “food truck fare with a chair,” and include Open Faced Braised Chicken Tacos, Easy Peasy Porky Ciabatta, Wings of Life (dry rubbed baked wings), When the Moon Hitsa You Eye Pizza Pie (with pepperoni), and I’m Hip with Hummus (with veggies on pita bread).

You can add a bag of Better-Made chips for $1, or order a boat of shoestring, waffle or sweet potato fries on the side. Tip from one food lover to another: you’re going to want to try the waffle fries here.

Rock City Eatery, 11411 Joseph Campau, Hamtramck, has a late night menu that works a little differently. There’s only one item on it, and you can only get this dish during a certain time period.

From 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Monday through Thursday and 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, you’ll find authentic Japanese Ramen on the menu. Even though it’ll cause you to leave your lair late at night, it’s worth it, as this is not the instant ramen you purchase at the supermarket.

While you’re there, it would be a shame to forget a piece of Rock City Eatery pie.

Enjoy your after-Christmas weekend and keep these places in mind when late night hunger strikes!
