Every year the DIY Street Fair shines a light on local artists from all art forms. Whether it’s paintings, graffiti art, photography, jewelry, pottery, glass work, or other art forms, the DIY is a one-stop shop for both talented artists and admirers of unique art.

The DIY Street Fair also showcases the art of local musicians. The Detroit area is filled with talented music acts that tour the area’s best venues, but the DIY gives attendees the opportunity to experience all of these bands throughout the weekend on two stages. With the majority of the acts coming from the metro Detroit area, this is the perfect chance to become familiar with Detroit’s amazing music scene.

Most of the weekend’s concerts will take place on the Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers stage with performances from Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Reverend Peyton, and Bear vs Shark. On the smaller of the two stages, The Loving Touch stage will act as host to bands like Bars of Gold, Ancient Language, and Cabin 7.

The festivities kick-off on Friday, September 22 and you can find more information on the DIY Street Fair on the event’s official website or Facebook page. Below you will find all the information you need for the festival’s performances.
