The largest lobster and seafood festival in the Midwest will take over Hart Plaza starting today, September 14. The fifth annual celebration will feature fresh lobster, live music performances, family-friendly activities, unique craft shopping, and more! The festival takes place this weekend running through Sunday, September 16, so if you want to go, head down to Hart Plaza before it’s too late!
20 of the best Chinese restaurants in Michigan will be on display at this year’s Detroit China Festival taking place on Saturday, September 22. With the best Chinese food in the state, unique Asian drinks, Detroit’s top DJ’s, and interactive games, this festival is sure to be a hit. The event at Grand Circus Park is expected to be the largest Asian themed event ever in Detroit with over 10,000 guests, so be sure to get there early to try all of the great food on display!
Combining the joys of a boat ride and Oktoberfest, the Boatoberfest Beer Tasting Boat Cruise is sure to be fun trip on the Detroit Princess Riverboat on Friday, October 6. More than 3,000 restaurant operators will be on hand at this year’s event where they will be sharing anecdotes on their journey, taking part in unique demonstrations, and interacting with consumers. The Detroit Fall Beer Festival is one of the largest all-Michigan beer tastings in the state and features over 800 beers locally crafted by more than 110 Michigan Breweries.
