July is Michigan Craft Beer Month, and what better way to celebrate than with a cold one (or few) at the 18th annual Summer Beer Festival?

The event takes place at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti’s Depot Town this Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25. While Saturday’s main event is already sold out, you can still purchase tickets for Friday’s festival, which runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Summer Beer Festival will feature over 100 different Michigan breweries with nearly 1,000 craft beer varieties to sample. While you drink, enjoy food available for purchase from local eateries along with live music from Michigan bands. You can find the full music lineup here, which includes musical performances from artists like Stone Clover, Duane Harlick Band and DJ Lewis Colon.

Breweries that will be making an appearance at Summer Beer Festival include Atwater Brewery, Black Lotus Brewery, Brewery Vivant, Dark Horse Brewing Co., Founders Brewing Co., Kuhnhenn Brewing Co., North Peak Brewing Co., Right Brain Brewery, Saugatuck Brewing Co., the WAB and more. A full list of participating breweries (and the beers and ciders they’ll be offering) can be found here.

Tickets to the 21 and up event cost $35 for Friday and include 15 tasting tokens. One token will get you a 3-ounce sample of beer, with the exception of a few specialty brews, which require multiple tickets per sample. Additional tokens can be purchased inside the event for $0.50 each. Designated driver tickets are also available for $5.
