If you are looking for something with a little more of a kick to go along with your brunch, there are fewer things better than a good Bloody Mary. In the past we’ve discussed some of the best bloody marys in the area. We thought it was time for another round, and this time we are taking things up a notch with some options that are a little more adventurous.

Mallie’s

If you’re looking to enjoy the delights of brunch with a group of your friends, you need to check out Mallie’s and their delicious bloody marys. They might be known for their Guinness World Record breaking large hamburger, but their monster bloody mary is just as ambitious. The one-gallon drink comes stacked with olives, cherries, fried chicken wings, cheese sticks, mini tacos, and the classic pickle spear. It will definitely take a group effort to take on this one.

Toast Birmingham

The breakfast/lunch/brunch hot spot in Birmingham has plenty of great bloody mary options, especially if you are the type of person that thinks bacon is its own food group. Bacon lovers can get their fix with the Oinkin’ Mary which features bacon infused vodka with bacon bits. Other bloody mary options include the Original Mary Bomb which is made with their house vodka and the Garden Mary, which is similar but is not as spicy.

J’s Smokehouse

This barbecue restaurant knows to make delicious burgers and steaks, but they also know how to make their bloody marys stick out from the crowd. You can tell just by looking at their Facebook cover photo, where you can see they top their bloody marys with burgers, shrimp, bacon, sandwiches, and other delicious garnishes.

trailblazer field

From soccer practice to grocery runs, the Chevy Trailblazer is designed to make your everyday outings a breeze.

One-Eyed Betty’s

This Ferndale establishment has always offered its guests some outside the box food options, but their breakfast menu is just as audacious. Dubbed the “Kick-Ass Bloody Mary,” the drink comes in a mason jar with a thick pepper crusted rim and garnishes of your choosing. It will certainly help wake you up in the morning.

The Huron Room

The Huron Room is your home for plenty of Michigan inspired dishes and craft beers, but they also offer some great bloody mary options for the brunch crowd. One of their bloody marys comes with blue cheese-stuffed olives and smoked shrimp, plus your choice of garnishes.

There are plenty of great bars and restaurants in the metro Detroit area that offer bloody marys to go along with brunch (or any other meal for that matter), so whether you’re enjoying one of these adventurous drinks or one from your favorite local spot, be sure to enjoy responsibly.
