Resolution Ball 2017
The Fillmore is always a great place to catch a fun concert, but the venue also knows how to throw a fun new year’s party. The Chicago-Las Vegas style affair will feature a variety of the area’s best DJ’s and dancers, strolling entertainers like stilt walkers and illusionists, a champagne reception, a live countdown from Times Square, and more. The Mega 80’s New Year’s Eve Bash
The Magic Bag will be celebrating the new year by taking guests back to the 1980’s with their Mega 80’s New Year’s Eve Bash. This retro party channels the days of MTV Rockin’ New Year’s Eve shows of years past. You have to buy your tickets in advance for this event, so be sure to do that here.
The Music of Prince Concert
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra will be performing the music of the pop music icon, Prince, this New Year’s Eve. The event starts at 8 p.m. with a strolling dinner in the Purple Rainforest featuring music from DSO’s Civic Jazz Quartet, then moves to a concert tribute to Prince at 10 p.m. The will finish off with a confetti drop and dance party at midnight. Motor City New Year’s Eve: The Drop
If you’re looking for a place to celebrate the new year with the entire family, look no further than Campus Martius and Cadillac Square’s Motor City New Year’s Eve. The festivities begin at 4 p.m. and the night will be filled with live performances, ice skating, horse drawn carriages, and a visual spectacle when the D drops at midnight. New Year’s Eve at Laurel Manor
Countdown to the new year in style with the New Year’s Eve party at Laurel Manor. This year’s celebration will feature performances from One Man Out, a premium open bar, Filet Mignon & Chicken Cortona Plated Duette dinner, and midnight champagne. There will also be shuttle services to and from nearby hotels throughout the night.
