Restaurant Weeks are Back for Winter in Metro D

Restaurant weeks are a great way to try the best restaurants in the area for outstanding prices. Later this month, both Ann Arbor and Birmingham will be hosting restaurant weeks featuring some of their most popular restaurants. Here’s all the information you need to know about these upcoming events.

Ann Arbor Restaurant Week, 1/15-1/20

The bi-annual Ann Arbor Restaurant Week will hold its winter edition starting January 15 and running through January 20. The popular event allows guests to try the wide range of restaurants Ann Arbor has to offer. Lunch options are available for $15, while dinner runs for $28, and many restaurants offer a two for one pricing.

Ann Arbor Restaurant week is not a ticketed event, but you do need to make reservations at the restaurants you would like to visit, so be sure to call the restaurant in advance. Beverage, tax, and gratuity are not included in the prices. Check Ann Arbor Restaurant Week’s website for more information.

A handful of the restaurants participating include Afternoon Delight, Godaiko, Old Carolina, Silvio’s Organic Pizza, and Zola Bistro. There’s plenty more where that came from though, so be sure to check out the full list of participating restaurants and their special menus.

Birmingham Restaurant Week, 1/30-2/3 and 2/6-2/10

Birmingham will host its restaurant week during a two week period from January 30 through February 3, and then again from February 6 through February 10. Nineteen restaurants will be showcased, offering three-course lunches for $15 and three-course dinners for $30. Similar to Ann Arbor’s restaurant week, reservations should be made by calling the restaurants directly. More information can be found on Birmingham Restaurant Week’s website.

There will be plenty of Birmingham’s finest restaurants participating, including Bistro Joe’s, Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, Salvatore Scallopini, The Bird & The Bread, and Toast. Be sure to check out all of the participating restaurants and their menus for the event.

It was recently announced that Detroit Restaurant Week will be back for 10 days of great food starting on February 3. The event will include $29 and $39 three-course dinner options, and participating restaurants will be announced soon so be sure to follow their Facebook page!
