It’s St. Paddy’s Day week, and that means libations and Irish celebrations are in order. Who doesn’t love a Reuben sandwich, packed with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and rye bread?

Satisfy your craving for a hot, grilled Reuben at one of the following restaurants in Metro D:

Bode’s Sidetrack Diner

Located along the Main Street railroad in downtown Plymouth, there are several corned beef sandwiches to choose from, including the Traditional Reuben, made with Bode’s own corned beef, natural Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing.

Zingerman’s Deli

This Ann Arbor delicatessen is known for its Reuben sandwich, so don’t miss it. Zingerman’s Reuben is piled (and I mean PILED) with corned beef, Switzerland Swiss cheese, Brinery sauerkraut and Russian dressing on fresh Jewish rye bread.

Adventure starts with a vehicle that’s up for anything. Trailblazer combines comfort you want, the versatility you need, and the technology to make every moment count.

If you enjoy variation, there’s the Binny’s Brooklyn Reuben, made with pastrami instead of corned beef, topped with the same fixin’s and served on pumpernickel bread.

Bread Basket Deli

There are 11 locations throughout metro Detroit, and the Bread Basket promises the biggest and best corned beef sandwiches around. Try the traditional Reuben, or switch things up with the Turkey Reuben, made with turkey, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing.

Restaurants offering up unique Reuben meals include Thompson’s Pizzeria of Chelsea, where you’ll find Reuben pizza this month, Honest John’s in Detroit, which serves a Reuben Omelet, and Mudgie’s, also of Detroit, with a Smoked Salmon Reuben and Veggie Reuben on the menu.

Additional options for traditional Reuben sandwiches include Louie’s Ham and Corned Beef (Detroit), Russell Street Deli (Detroit), Hygrade Restaurant & Deli (Detroit) and House of Reuben (Sterling Heights).

Traditional or unique, grab a Reuben in metro D this week!
