Gwen’s Cake Decorating and Etc., located in Saline, offers more than 30 different cake and filling flavors. Wedding cake tastings are by appointment only, and are free of charge.
Flavors include red velvet, white amaretto and German chocolate cake, and lemon, Bailey’s buttercream and salted caramel filling. You can find a variety of wedding cake styles here to inspire your design.
Bella e Dolce has both a northern and southeast Michigan location, with the latter found in Walled Lake. Wedding cakes have three layers of filling in each tier, and you can combine two different fillings in each tier.
Popular flavor combinations include chocolate cake with salted caramel buttercream and chocolate ganache, banana cake with vanilla cream cheese and chocolate buttercream and pumpkin cake with vanilla cream cheese.
Group tastings are typically available twice a month, while private consultations can be made for $50.
Sweet 220 of Livonia offers a variety of tasty flavors, including marble, vanilla and red velvet cake, and strawberries and cream, lemon cheesecake and vanilla raspberry filling.
