Flea markets are great for a couple of reasons; not only are you able to find remarkable deals on used items, but you can often find antique items that can no longer be purchased at a department store.Whether you are an experienced flea market shopper or a casual one, here are five metro Detroit flea markets that we think are worth your time.
Ever since it opened in October of 1992, the Warren Community Flea Market has been the go to place for those looking for vintage items. Spanning over 40,000 feet, the indoor/outdoor market boasts antiques, coins, collectibles, sports memorabilia, tools, furniture, and new/used computers and electronics.
Located in the heart of Taylor, the Taylortown Trade Center is a must for any flea market devotee. There are plenty of deals to take advantage of as the market has electronics, coins, antiques, jewelry and other unusual items for sale. Taylortown hosts auctions every Saturday and food auctions the second Sunday of every month. Another fun fact, the Michigan Reptile Expo can also be found in the Taylortown Trade Center, which can be a cool place to visit after you’re done shopping.
With over 250 independent merchants, the Dixieland Flea Market Place is the largest flea market in Oakland County. On the corner of Dixie Highway and Telegraph Road, Dixieland sells pretty much everything you’d ever need, and is a great place to collect and trade unique items.

You might know Royal Oak Farmers Market for its fresh, local produce, but the venue also hosts an Antique/Flea Market every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 70 vendors set up inside and outside the building and offer some truly fascinating vintage items.
