“It started with an opportunity,” said founder, Travis Fourmont, who, along with partner, Anthony Morrow (Pulp Media), have built Whiskey Fest into Detroit’s boldest whiskey event. “When we started, I was in the industry working for a distributor. We wanted to get all the suppliers involved. Get them engaged in the market. A lot of bars, restaurants, and even retail stores come there to see what kind of new products are available. It’s a lot of great networking… but then it’s also just a great party.”

General Admission Tickets include 7 p.m. entry and 10 spirit/cocktail samples.
VIP Early Entry Tickets are offered in limited quantity. These include 15 spirit/cocktail samples (half-ounce), a tasting glass, and complimentary food courtesy of Detroit BBQ. Best of all, these tickets allow entry an hour prior to GA, providing access to the rare and older bottles that won’t last long.
Detroit Whisky Festival benefits O.A.T.S. – Offering Alternative Therapy with Smiles. The organization provides equine-assisted therapy on a weekly basis, year-round to more than 100 children and adults with a wide variety of physical and/or emotional disabilities.
