Spooky Spirits: A Guide to Halloween Bar Crawls in Metro Detroit

Halloween is the perfect time to gather some friends and head out on the town for a fun, themed bar crawl. There’s no better excuse to put on a great costume and try a variety of drinks from local bars and restaurants. There are several events happening between now and Halloween across Metro Detroit to help get you in the spirit. Check out each one of these events for all the details. 


Saturday, October 14

Hallowcrawl is happening in Downtown Royal Oak from 2 – 7 p.m. on October 14. 18 different bars and restaurants are participating in Hallowcrawl with drink specials, music, and more. There will be a costume contest, drawings for prizes, keepsake photos, and karaoke.

The Halloween Bar Crawl in Clawson is the perfect event for those who like to enjoy a spooky atmosphere while having some drinks. The bar crawl consists of visiting several bars in the city, each with its unique Halloween drink specials, decor, and spooky surprises. From ghostly cocktails to pumpkin beer, each bar offers a special drink to fit the Halloween theme. Be sure to come in costume to participate in the costume contest! 


Saturday, October 28

The Wicked Wolverine Halloween Bar Crawl is coming to Ann Arbor from 5 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 28. Savor the spine-chilling experience as you explore a selection of the city’s most iconic bars and pubs, each offering exclusive food and drink specials tailored to tantalize your taste buds. You’ll receive food and drink specials at each location plus the ability to experience the crawl at your own pace.

Saturday, October 28

The 4th annual Booze & Boos Halloween Bar Crawl is taking place in downtown Fenton. Stops include The Fenton Pub, Corner Bar, The Barn, Fireplace & The Ponemah Lakeside Lodge. Each location will be keeping the party going with drink specials, live music, dancing, and DJs. Make sure you dress to impress to enter into the costume contest for a chance to win prizes. Tickets are $30 and proceeds benefit The Warda Foundation.


Saturday, October 28

The 80’s vs. 90’s Halloween Party & Pub Crawl will take over District 142 and all of Downtown Wyandotte. Dress as your favorite 80’s or 90’s movie star, rockstar, or idol, to win prizes. Advance tickets are $15 and get you access to the pub crawl as well as a fanny pack for the event.
