Anyone who has watched The Office knows that the show takes place in Scranton, Pennsylvania, but do you know the name of Dwight’s brother? If you do, you’re probably a super fan of the popular sitcom and while showing off your knowledge to your friends in your living room is fun, why not put your smarts to the ultimate test?

Many southeast Michigan bars and grills host trivia nights, but the following establishments have gone the extra mile and are hosting themed trivia nights. It’s not just The Office, as these nights range from Harry Potter to Parks and Recreation. Trivia tailored to your fandom can not only earn you bragging rights, but you can win gift cards and other prizes. Here are five upcoming themed trivia nights that will put your fandom to the test.

Rosie O’Grady’s and One Eyed Betty’s (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office)

Two of the most popular television comedies of the last decade will be featured at not one, but two Ferndale bars. Rosie O’Gradys and One Eyed Betty’s will be hosting an It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia trivia night on Wednesday, February 21 and The Office trivia night on Wednesday, March 28. Both nights are expected to be popular and all tables are first come, first serve so be sure to get there early!

Tipsy McStaggers (The Simpsons, Harry Potter)

Tipsy McStaggers is home to many trivia nights throughout the year, but it’s next two events feature very passionate fan bases. The Warren bar will be hosting a Simpsons trivia night on Monday, February 26 and a Harry Potter trivia night the following Monday, March 5. Both nights will feature prizes and make sure to reserve your table before heading out!

Bombshells (The Lord of the Rings)

Venture to Middle Earth and prove your Lord of the Rings knowledge at at Bombshells Bar & Eats in Warren on Monday, February 26. The night will feature themed shot specials, half-off pizza, and free pool throughout the event. The winning team will receive a gift certificate, while themed prizes will be rewarded to the second and third place teams.

Haymaker (Parks and Recreation)

Do you know Pawnee, Indiana more than you know your own hometown? Then we have the event for you. Haymaker in Ann Arbor will be hosting a Parks and Recreation themed trivia night on Thursday, March 8. Their previous themed trivia nights have sold out, so be sure to get your tickets here.

Connor O’Neils (The Office)

The Office might have ended five years ago, but the passion surrounding the hilarious workplace comedy remains strong. Conor O’Neils in Ann Arbor will be hosting a one-night trivia competition surrounding the Steve Carrell comedy on Tuesday, March 27. Be sure to reserve your table in advance. There will be a $10 buy-in for prizes for the top three teams.
