Whether you think it’s the seasoning on the beef, the juiciness of the patty, or the toppings that make or break a burger, you are sure to find one you love at this year’s Burger Battle Detroit at Eastern Market on Sunday, June 24.

The popular food event allows guests to enjoy all-you-can eat burgers from 20 of metro Detroit’s best restaurants. That’s right, all-you-can eat burgers, for just one price. With general admission set at $15 and VIP tickets (which include early admission) set at $25, even one of the event’s producers, Scott Rutterbush, from Dine Drink Detroit knows that is a great deal.

“Most places you go, you get charged $15 for one burger. At Burger Battle, you get all the burgers you want for the same price while experiencing the fun competition,” Rutterbush said.

The fun competition will pit the 20 restaurants against each other as guests will vote for their favorite, and the top five vote-getters will present their burgers to a panel of judges. Only one will be crowned champion, and with restaurants like defending champions Frita Batidos and the first Burger Battle champion Townhouse duking it out, you’re guaranteed to get some great tasting burgers.

Whether you're going out on a fishing trip, discovering new hiking spots, or heading out for a weekend of camping, the Trailblazer is an ideal companion for your active lifestyle.

More than just a competition, Burger Battle is also a great way to try some unique burgers while also interacting with the chefs and owners of these great restaurants. It’s a one-of-a-kind event for not only fans of burgers, but fans of the metro Detroit food scene.

“Guests get to interact with the chefs and the owners as they make the burgers. People love to see the burgers get made and they get to see how competitive and serious the chefs take the competition,” Rutterbush said.

To go along with all of the great burgers, the event will also include live DJs, a corn hole tournament, and a full bar. It’s sure to be an entertaining afternoon in Shed 5 at the historic Eastern Market.

Dine Drink Detroit is producing the event and they are responsible for many fun and unique food events taking place throughout metro Detroit. They have two more exciting events taking place this summer at Eastern Market: Drink Pink – Rosé the Night Away on Friday, July 13 and the Taco Showdown on Sunday, July 29. Be sure to check the Facebook pages for both of those events as they are expected to sell out.
