I don’t know about you, but nothing sounds better than a crisp, refreshing beer to kick off Michigan’s warmer months. When it comes to ringing in spring with a finely brewed craft beer, Michigan breweries seem to have a certain fruitful quality to their seasonal creations. Check out these fruit-flavored Michigan beers available this spring.

Whango Mango from Atwater Brewery

As the name suggests, this wheat ale contains a mango flavor that’s perfect for welcoming the warmer temperatures of spring in Michigan. It’s not very hoppy or bitter and has a nice sweet flavor that goes down smoothly. Enjoy it starting in March and through the end of summer.

MI-Berry Vice from Arcadia Ales

This wheat ale from Arcadia Ales goes all in on the sweet flavor profile. Fermented with red and black raspberries and blueberries, MI-Berry Vice is a tart, yet sweet treat on a warm spring (or summer) night.

Passion Blaster from New Holland

The new kid on the block from New Holland Brewing, Passion Blaster is a rosy wheat ale packed with passion fruit, raspberry and apple flavors. This one jumped on the scene in 2018 and we’re feeling pretty passionate about it sticking around for years to come.

Whether you're going out on a fishing trip, discovering new hiking spots, or heading out for a weekend of camping, the Trailblazer is an ideal companion for your active lifestyle.

Bramble and Witchcraft from Batch Brewing Company

Located on Porter St. in Detroit, Batch Brewing Company has whipped up a new, fruit-flavored beer just in time for spring. Bramble and Witchcraft is a blackberry ale brewed with rooibos tea, and containing hints of elderberry, stone fruit and blueberry. Enjoy it over brunch at the brewery every Sunday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m.

Rain In Blood from Dark Horse Brewery

Made with fresh blood oranges and freshly squeezed blood orange juice, this pale ale from Dark Horse Brewery is a tribute to a founding member of thrash metal band Slayer, Jeff Hanneman. Enjoy this heavy metal brew from now until the end of July.
