Lakes Grille in Clarkston has plenty of affordable options when it comes to delicious pasta, steak, and seafood dishes. If you’re looking for a slightly different take on the surf and turf dish, we would suggest the Surf and Turf Mac and Cheese. The dish features steak and lobster bits over elbow pasta tossed in a cheese blend and then baked to a golden brown. It might not be the traditional surf and turf dish, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less delicious. If you and your significant other are both looking for a great surf and turf dinner, check out D’Amato’s on Tuesday nights. The Royal Oak Italian restaurant features a three-course surf and turf dinner for two for $50. It’s a great deal, and you can make the night complete by listening to live jazz from Jimmy Smith Trio starting at 8 p.m. Looking for a little spice in your surf and turf dish? Look no further than Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurant in Detroit. They offer a few combination plates that will give your surf and turf dish a little kick, like the Mar y Tierra dish which features grilled steak, sautéed marinated shrimps, refried beans, rice, pico de gallo and guacamole. At $13.95, it’s a lot of food for a nice price while also spicing up your surf and turf needs. Harbor House in the heart of Detroit’s entertainment district gives Detroiters a fine dining experience while also showcasing some of the area’s most talented musicians. They offer numerous surf and turf dishes including 9 oz. New York Strip steaks with your choice of shrimp, premium snow crab legs, and either fried or baked lobster tail. It’s the Harbor House special, however, that has our eye as it features a 6 oz. choice sirloin, seven shrimp, along with a house salad and a side for $15.49. Sinbad’s is one of the more well-known Detroit seafood restaurants, and they always have good dinner options. Their surf and turf dish is served features rock lobster tail with your choice of Filet or New York Strip. It is always served at market price so you know you’re getting not only the best food options but price as well.
