As an adult, it’s hard to keep up with all of your responsibilities and keep track of your social life at the same time. Thankfully, Wine Down Wednesday has become a social norm, and as such, we have an excuse to meet up with our girlfriends to catch up over a glass of wine after work!

Here are a few places where you can kick back, relax and enjoy Wine Down Wednesday in the D:

Grand Tavern

Located in Farmington, Grand Tavern offers half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays. Take advantage of happy hour, too, which runs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and includes $3 house wine and two for one appetizers (until 6 p.m.).

Brick’s of Northville

You’ll find specials each day of the week at Brick’s, including half off bottles of wine and half off select appetizers on Wine Me Down Wednesdays. Stick around for My Trivia Live from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.!

glamping trax

The Chevy Trax combines rugged capability with modern comfort, making every adventure unforgettable.

Union Street

An art deco restaurant found in downtown Detroit, Union Street has half priced bottles of wine on Wednesdays. You don’t want to sip on an empty stomach, so try an appetizer, like Detroit Beer Mussels, Union Calamari or BBQ Brisket Egg Rolls.

Bailey’s Sports Grille

Grab your girlfriends and head to Bailey’s of Canton for $5 off bottled wine all day on Wednesdays. Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon, Château Ste. Michelle Riesling and Trinity Oaks Merlot are a few options.

Draught Horse Brewery

Why would I go to a brewery to drink wine, you may ask? Because this New Hudson brewery also makes its own wine! And from 5 p.m. to close on Wednesdays, wine is $1 off. There are four varieties to choose from, including Lake MI White, Lake MI Red, Bellatrix Rose and Rebellion Riesling.

More places to check out for Wine Down Wednesday deals: VinBar (Ann Arbor), D’Amato’s (Royal Oak), Sterling’s Bistro (Sterling Heights) and Centaur Bar (Detroit).

Whether you prefer chardonnay, merlot or riesling, make time for social hour and enjoy a glass of wine with friends in the D!
