This holiday season, your Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers are once again teaming up with The Bottomless Toy Chest to bring you the Season of Giving.
Simply stop into your local Metro Detroit Chevy Dealer to donate a new toy to The Bottomless Toy Chest by placing the toy in the back of a designated Silverado in the showroom. On December 7, all toys donated in this manner will be given to The Bottomless Toy Chest, which will then distribute the toys to pediatric cancer patients across southeast Michigan.

The Bottomless Toy Chest has been around since 2008 when executive director and founder Mickey Guisewite sought to bring the same happiness she saw in her own son when he received a new toy during his cancer treatment to other children in similar situations. While Guisewite was able to quit her job to be with her son during his treatment, many parents are not so fortunate. Delivering a new toy to a child in treatment was one way Guisewite knew she could brighten their spirits a little bit. The nonprofit 501c(3) organization now operates year-round, delivering new toys to pediatric cancer patients.
This year’s Season of Giving will run until December 2, 2016.
