Alber Orchard is a little further out of the city but absolutely worth the trip. Grab a wagon and take the beautiful nature walk out to their pumpkin patch field, where they grow a wide variety of pumpkins and other gourds for u-pick. If you don’t feel up for the walk, you can always choose a pre-picked pumpkin from outside of their store.

Family-owned and operated Apple Charlie’s is a hidden gem in the area. They offer both u-pick and pre-picked pumpkins from their pumpkin patch in a variety of sizes.
COOK’S FARM DAIRY
2950 East Seymour Lake Road, Ortonville
Choosing a pumpkin at Cook’s Farm Dairy is a whole experience. Every weekend in October, you can hop on a hayride out to the pumpkin patch. Hayrides cost $6 and include a fresh cup of chocolate milk from the farm and a donut from Ashton’s, a local orchard. When you wander around the patch and find your perfect gourd, know that you can pick any size pumpkin you like for $6.
DEBUCK’S FAMILY FARM

DeBuck’s has a 20-acre pumpkin patch, so no matter what type of pumpkin you’re looking for, they’re sure to have it! Grab a ticket to their Fall Festival to explore the patch and some of the other attractions available, like a 15-acre corn maze, wagon rides, and other fall fun!
KACKLEBERRY FARMS
6421 North Stoney Creek Road, Monroe
Take a trip to Kackleberry Farms and see their pumpkins ready for you to pick. Grab a wagon or a wheelbarrow and head to their Instagram-worthy field filled with pumpkins. With admission, you can also access the corn maze, hay ride, trike track, and more.
LONG FAMILY ORCHARD, FARM & CIDER MILL
1540 East Commerce Road, Commerce Charter Township
The Long Family Orchard & Farm gives two great options for finding your perfect pumpkin. Throughout the week, you can select from the ones in front of the Cider Mill if you don’t want to pick your own. On weekends only, u-pick pumpkins are available with the Fun Farm Area admission. That admission price includes the hayride to and from the pumpkin patch, but not any of the pumpkins you may pick out.
THREE CEDARS FARM
7897 Six Mile Road, Northville
A favorite family destination, Three Cedars Farm has a five-acre pumpkin patch for you to explore. Each pumpkin is priced by size so you can choose one (or more!) to fit any fall decorating budget. Hayrides are available for $5 per person or $10 a family, and the fare is for the round-trip, stopping at the corn maze and pumpkin patch.
