Haulin for Heroes

There are so many people in the United States Armed Forces that are showing their bravery every day. Why not honor that bravery with goods that will help our service members keep home close to their heart? After all, there’s plenty to love about Michigan; cider mills, camping, apple orchards, the Great Lakes, boating, fishing, Detroit sports, your favorite Michigan foods, and so much more.

That’s why your Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers are teaming up with Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township to bring a little happiness to service men and women shipping out or coming home. From now until September 30th, “Haulin’ for Heroes” invites you to stop into a participating Metro Detroit Chevy Dealer to drop off needed items for care packages, such as blankets, items for entertainment, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Michigan-made snacks and more.

All goods will be taken and used to construct a care package with a variety of items thanks to your participation. Those care packages will then be delivered to service men and women from Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Our hope is that these packages will feel a little more personal by including items from the Mitten State, whether that’s their favorite Detroit sports team or their favorite Michigan-made snack.

Your Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers are proud to support the local men and women that are demonstrating their bravery every day by working hard for the United States. Find a local Metro Detroit Chevy Dealer by clicking here, and let’s treat our heroes to a little something from home.
