‘Tis the season! Grab the kids and head out for a holly jolly good time with Santa Claus. The Metro Detroit area is generous when it comes to pictures and letting him know what to leave under the tree this year. Check out this list to find an opportunity near you.

Great Lakes Crossing

You can expect Santa to be present at just about every mall in Metro Detroit and Great Lakes Crossing is no exception. Pictures with Santa are available every day until Christmas Eve, either in the designated area in the mall or at Bass Pro Shop. Reservations are not required, but are highly recommended for both and Bass Pro is offering a free 4×6 photo.

Spicer Orchards

Take a trip to Fenton to visit Spicer Orchards and witness the winter wonderland. The Musical Spice Express train transports riders to Santa’s cabin in the woods, where they can enjoy a bonfire, pictures, food, and drinks. There are daytime and nighttime slots and they differ slightly. At night, the train showcases an enchanting display of lights and during the day, guests can choose to see Santa at his sleigh workshop. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 810-632-7692.

Santa in Novi

First up we have the Twelve Oaks Mall Santa Flight Academy. At the center of the mall, guests have the opportunity to join Santa in his sleigh for a picture and a quick chat. The last day to see him is Christmas Eve and a pre-paid photo package reservation is required. Then there’s Laurel Park Place also offering visits with Santa. Every day until Christmas Eve, visitors can meet Santa either virtually or in person. Registration is required for all in-person visits.

Blazer bookstore

With a spacious interior, cutting-edge technology, and top-tier safety features, the Blazer is built for those who live life to the fullest.

Waterford Backyard Santa

For a more extravagant family holiday experience, consider attending a Waterford Backyard Santa session. The cost is $45 and includes a mini holiday shoot with and without Santa and refreshments. There’s also an option to have your little ones receive a gift from Santa for an additional fee. Feel free to bring out the whole family including your pets, until the last day, December 18.

And it doesn’t stop there. Metro Detroit boasts countless opportunities to visit with Santa and make this special time of year extra special for the little ones. Don’t wait too long! Soon, Santa will be off to make his Christmas morning deliveries.
