The Detroit Free Press Talmer Bank Marathon is an event rich with tradition, anticipation and accomplishment. This weekend-long event that takes place October 19-21, 2012, is one of the country’s most sought after races. The Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers are proud to be the title sponsor of the Half-Marathon which offers international appeal spanning across both downtown Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, and crossing the border at both the Ambassador Bridge and Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. In addition, our iconic 1953 Corvette will dawn the commemorative medal that each runner receives when they finish the race.
