If you are a dog owner, you know the importance of being able to take your best friend around town with you. And this doesn’t just mean taking a walk on your local trail or heading to the dog park for the afternoon. Having your sidekick with you as you hit up some cool spots in Metro Detroit makes the bond between you two (or three, or four…) completely inseparable. These local places welcome and encourage you to bring your dog with you.

The Skip Detroit

The Skip Detroit is one of the most popular downtown hangouts. Their open-air patio seating is perfect for grabbing a drink and bringing your dog to lounge around. The Skip usually has quick turnaround on tables so waiting for something to open never takes very long. Be sure to grab one of their incredible frozen drinks like the cucumber margarita or the frozen Irish coffee and enjoy the time outside all summer long.
