If you like surprises, then book yourself a reservation at Marrow. Their menu is constantly changing and rarely posted anywhere, but it’s delicious every single time.

Things to Do

Spend the day wandering around at the Detroit Institute of Arts. There’s plenty to see and there are new events on their calendar all the time to check out.

If you love live entertainment, look into getting tickets for a show at The Fisher Theatre, The Fox Theatre, or the Detroit Opera House. There is always something happening at least one of the venues from concerts to musicals to comedians. Whether you want to take planning into your own hands or participated in an organized event, walking the Dequindre Cut or the Riverwalk on a beautiful day is a great way to get some exercise and spend quality time together.
