Football season is kicking off and those of us who celebrate this time of year are more than ready to soak in all the football we can handle each weekend. Attending the game is great and hosting at home is a lot of fun too, but there’s something about watching the game in the company of your fellow superfans at a local watch party. Luckily there are plenty of area locations offering football watch parties this season. Whether you like college or pro football, you should check out these places to watch the big game this weekend.

2208 Cass Ave, Detroit

Bookies Bar & Grille is a great place to have a great meal or to watch the game. They have many local bar food favorites on their menu including burgers, wraps, and nachos. Bookies also has daily drink specials to make watching the game a little easier on your wallet.

How do you make a truck your own? We're redefining what it means to drive a pickup. With luxurious comfort, a world-class entertainment system, and a 6-position Multi-Flex Tailgate, Silverado is the change you've been waiting for.

2482 Clifford Street, Detroit

If you like a little party with your game day, Harry’s Detroit is the place for you. Located right next to Little Caesars Arena, they’re known for their food menu and throwing a bash, regardless of the occasion. They host a pregame party for each Lions game and the atmosphere can’t be beat.

1408 East Fisher Service Drive, Detroit

While typically noted as an Irish pub, Thomas Magee’s is open and ready to host fans of all sports. They have all of the football schedules listed on their website, and even though they don’t serve food, they have plenty of drink specials to compensate.

205 Fifth Ave, Royal Oak

O’Toole’s Royal Oak is an Irish Pub in downtown Royal Oak with a great food and drink menu. Their walls are covered with TVs so your favorite game will definitely be on. They have specials each day of the week including Monday Night Football, Thursday Night Football, College Football Saturdays, and Sunday Funday Football.
