If you’ve attended a baseball game at Comerica Park in 2014 or 2015, chances are high you’ve seen the Motor City Wheels racing mascots presented by your Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers. This year, original mascots Bella Air, Corey Vette and Petey Pickup were joined by two new family members, Cam Aro and Shelly Chevelle.
The addition of Cam Aro and Shelly Chevelle to the Motor City Wheels lineup only made each and every race at Comerica Park this season more fun and competitive!
If you did, in fact, witness these rather athletic mascots race while watching the Tigers this season, perhaps you also noticed that you had the chance to expand your own car family! Fans had the opportunity to win a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado by simpling texting the name of the day’s winning mascot to the number 39844.
The contest will officially conclude with a grand prize ceremony at Comerica Park this Saturday, Sept. 26. The event takes place immediately following the game, where one of four finalists will drive away with the 2015 Silverado!
After the game, the four lucky finalists will each have the honor of taking the Comerica Park field–an opportunity typically reserved only for all-star athletes! Each finalist will take a base, where there will be one envelope on each base with a key inside. The finalists will simultaneously rip open their envelopes and the person who holds the golden key gets to drive off in his or her new 2015 Chevy Silverado!
