Halloween can sometimes be viewed as an adolescent holiday with costumes, trick ‘r treating, and candy, but who says that only kids can have fun? There are plenty of ways to enjoy Halloween; from themed parties to creepy concerts, and even spooky dinners, entertainment options are boundless. So get ready for some costumed fun and check out these upcoming Halloween events in Metro Detroit.

Theatre Bizarre (10/11, 10/12, 10/18, 10/19)

A modern day masquerade has turned into one of Detroit’s richest traditions in the form of Theatre Bizarre. The Masonic Temple plays host to this annual celebration of strange and (of course) bizarre featuring live music, performers, and an energetic atmosphere. This year’s party begins on Friday, October 11 with The Masquerade Gala, with masquerades on the following Fridays and Saturdays.

Halloween in Hollygrove (10/12)

With best-in-class cargo space, top of the line safety features, and cutting edge technology, the Chevy Suburban is perfect for any family. See the Suburban's available features that can keep up with your family's lifestyle.

Holly gets spooky this Saturday, October 12 as the Halloween in Hollygrove returns for more Halloween mayhem. Enjoy a double feature of horror movies under the stars, play headless horseman bubble soccer, try to survive zombie paintball, and dance the night away at club scream. Although there is no age limit set at this event, it is strongly considered an 18 and over event.

Creepy Cheapy (10/25, 10/26)

Another popular masquerade, although very different than Theatre Bizarre, is the annual Creepy Cheapy at The Crofoot. Several artists will take the stage covering some of the most iconic acts throughout the two-night event. Performers include Signature Mistakes as Fall Out Boy, Mercury Rising as Queen, Young Pioneer as Taylor Swift, Vena Morris & Seaholm as My Chemical Romance, Ana as Nirvana, and many more.

Monster’s Ball (10/25)

Featuring a party of over 1,500 Halloween enthusiasts every year, Monster’s Ball is one of the top Halloween parties in Detroit. Live performers, DJ’s, stage entertainers and more will be on-hand to help you celebrate. This year’s special performers include The Weird Sisters Circus, Mission Accomplished Crew, and DJ Chuck D.

Annual Halloween Dinner Adventure (10/27, 10/30, 10/31)

One of Detroit’s top dining experiences gears up for another paranormal adventure when The Whitney hosts their Annual Halloween Dinner starting on Sunday, October 27. The night will include a five course dinner, live piano music of the macabre, spirited house tours and history by Haunt Investigators of Michigan, and Halloween-only access to basement and carriage house. Limited tickets are available, so check out the website to grab your tickets.
