Metro Detroit is full of fun holiday activities for the whole family such as Breakfasts with Santa, holiday movie screenings, tree lightings and much more, but what about some more adult-focused holiday fun? If you missed out on some unique holiday bar crawls, we suggest checking out the Miracle takeover at The Oakland this month.

Returning for its third straight year, but its first at The Oakland, Miracle is a pop-up holiday cocktail bar with plenty of festive cheer to go around. Kitschy holiday decor fills the Ferndale bar that transports as you’ll be transported to a more mature winter wonderland full of delicious holiday-inspired cocktail concoctions.

Themed drinks include the Christmapolitan made with vodka, elderflower, dry vermouth, spiced cranberry sauce, rosemary, lime, and absinthe mist. For something even more sweeter, check out the Run Run Rudolph drink made with prosecco, gin, mulled wine puree, lemon, and cane syrup. There’s also egg nog for those who are interested in that sort of thing…

The Oakland, located on 9 Mile just west of Woodward, is known for its stylish and elegant decor when it’s not hosting a holiday pop-up. The bar is influenced by old speakeasies and they pair that with hand-crafted intricate cocktails made with exotic fresh ingredients. It’s a nostalgic trip, one that’s worth taking after you visit Miracle’s pop-up.

Families are always on the go, and the Trailblazer combines safety, comfort and accessibility to fit your family's needs. Discover the available features that make Trailblazer an ideal family SUV.

Miracle will run at The Oakland daily starting at 5 p.m. until Sunday, December 29. Reservations are encouraged and can be made at resy.com. For more information on everything The Oakland has coming up, be sure to visit their Facebook page.

Other local holiday pop-ups include Jingle at Ale Mary’s in Royal Oak, Sippin’ Santa at The Skip, and Fleat Fa La La at Detroit Fleat. Detroit Fleat’s pop-up will also be benefiting Heart 2 Hart Detroit where you can get 10% off your bill when you donate new clothes to the local organization.
