Although Oktoberfest is celebrated annually in Germany, an estimated six million people around the world partake in the partying. The nearly three week party runs through the majority of September and ends on the first Sunday of October. Many Metro Detroit communities have events coming up to help you celebrate, and some of them even put their own twist on the German tradition. So grab your stein and get ready for these upcoming Oktoberfests.

Batch Brauerei Oktoberfest (9/13)

The Batch Brewing Company will hold its 5th Annual Batch Brauerei Oktoberfest on Friday, September 13. German beer and food will be on-hand as a ticket gets you a chicken dinner, sauerkraut, and a one liter bier stein. You can get $1 off your beers if you come dressed wearing Dirndl or Lederhosen.
