Those apples aren’t going to pick themselves! Time to pull out the cozy sweaters and boots and get ready to enjoy deliciously fresh apples and fall treats. Apple Orchards are fun for just about everyone. Most of them offer U-pick, along with other activities like hayrides, mazes, and petting farms. Here’s where to find an orchard near you!

Long Family Orchard and Farm

Long Family Orchard and Farm has been serving the commerce area since 2007. This seasonal apple orchard has apples of all kinds available for picking, along with vegetables. Their website even includes an ‘all about apples’ section, where the team goes through what purposes different kinds of apples can serve, their nutritional value, and recipes for treats like apple nut squares and apple dessert cake. Spicer Orchards

With five generations of farming under the Spicer Orchards belt, you can expect to pick some of the freshest apples and fruit here. Guests are provided a picking container, loaded onto the wagon and driven out to the field where the magic happens. They even offer educational tours, sharing expertise on picking and the fruit they grow. For more information, follow Spicer Orchards on Facebook @SpicerOrchards.

Kapnick Orchards

Throughout the year, Kapnick Orchards offers a wide variety of fruits, ready for picking. The Kapnick team remains committed to healthy farming that provides healthy food to support the well-being of all its customers. The kind of apples available varies each week, and they offer the option to purchase apple trees to take home. Not to mention the Annual Apple Festival, which is coming up in October.
