SUPERGEIL

Supergeil is an Eastern European and Mediterranean-inspired cafe with a laid-back vibe with fresh seasonal ingredients and scratch cooking. Leaning toward more savory brunch offerings, you can still find Moroccan beignets, cinnamon date rolls, and strawberry rhubarb granola for those with a sweet tooth. The chorizo shrimp and polenta eggs Benedict and Simit and lox stand out, as do the döner kabobs with garlic sauce. As for brunch cocktails, you can find a house bloody with horseradish-infused gin, along with breakfast martinis and mimosas. The eclectic menu and lively atmosphere make it a prime Sunday spot to catch up with friends while sampling distinctive dishes and drinks.

THREE CATS AT LEON & LULU

Located in Clawson, Three Cats combines the charm of a boutique cafe with delicious brunch fare and small plates. Their creative menu, full of American classics with an upscale twist, and the quirky setting inside Leon & Lulu’s store make it a one-of-a-kind experience. The weekend brunch items rotate seasonally, ensuring a fresh take on your favorite dishes. Some current features include a corn-flake-crusted French Toast made with a crispy fried brioche, fresh berries, and pure maple syrup, a smoked salmon pinsa, and a vegetable hash. Brunch cocktails that stand out are Passion in Paradise (Two James Coffee Liqueur, Bumbu XO rum, and coconut syrup) and Black Snake Moan (Villon cognac, lemon, orange, and sparkling wine).
JAY JAY’S BISTRO
2995 East Long Lake Road, Troy
Jay Jay’s Bistro is one of my new favorite spots that stands out with its elevated take on Mediterranean, American, and Italian cuisine. According to owner John Hermiz, “Jay Jay’s is a Mediterranean flare bistro [that] has an upbeat atmosphere with a newly renovated interior that really makes it a place to hang out with friends.” Their menu is a diverse treasure trove featuring breakfast favorites like homemade crepes and unique offerings like shawarma quesadillas and Kobe truffle sliders. With a full bar serving handcrafted cocktails and a full breakfast menu served daily, Jay Jay’s is the perfect place for a leisurely brunch or catching the game on one of their many TVs. The cheesecake French toast is a delicious combination of fresh fruit and cheesecake frosting, and the skillets are oh-so-filling. Pair it with a refreshing mocktail or curated beverage and enjoy brunch in the sunroom for an excellent brunch experience.

Daily Jam delights Farmington Hills with its classic brunch menu. Open daily, its offerings include breakfast tacos, protein-packed omelets, and loaded pancakes. Daily Jam also offers delicious smoothies, a coffee bar, and breakfast cocktails (including a mimosa flight!) making it an energizing way to start the day. Stick with a classic breakfast sandwich or branch out to the avocado toast and sauté options. There is certainly something for everyone at Daily Jam.
ROSE HOUSE BRUNCH
